Stacy brings a warm, compassionate, and culturally responsive approach to counseling. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Georgia State University and recently earned her Master of Social Work from Kennesaw State University. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings.
Before entering the field of social work, Stacy gained experience working in pediatric and family healthcare, where she worked with children, adults, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences. Her background in healthcare helped shape her appreciation for meeting people where they are, listening to their individual stories, and recognizing that each person’s experiences and needs are unique.
Stacy values providing care that is culturally responsive and respectful of each client’s unique background and lived experiences. She recognizes that culture, family, identity, values, and life experiences can all play an important role in how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and the challenges we face.
Stacy takes a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to counseling and believes that a strong therapeutic relationship begins with clients feeling safe, heard, and understood. She works collaboratively with clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and find meaningful ways to move forward.
As a growing clinician, Stacy values continued learning and approaches her work with curiosity, openness, and a genuine desire to understand each person who enters the counseling space. She believes therapy can be a place to work through difficult experiences, better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and feel supported as you navigate life.
Above all, Stacy strives to provide a supportive and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable showing up as themselves and know they do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
