Ashley Bryson, Counselor Intern
Supervised by Sha Wortman, MEd, LPC
Ashley Bryson is a counselor intern who brings compassion, authenticity, and a deep sense of empathy to the therapy room. With a warm and welcoming presence, she walks alongside women, children, teens, and adults navigating life’s challenges—whether it’s adjusting to a new season, coping with loss, managing anxiety, or finding clarity in the midst of emotional overwhelm.
Ashley is especially passionate about supporting women through the unique emotional journeys of infertility, postpartum transitions, and identity shifts. Having personally experienced infertility, she offers a grounded and understanding perspective that helps clients feel seen and supported without judgment.
Before stepping into the world of counseling, Ashley spent over 14 years as a special education teacher. This background gives her a strong foundation in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, and allows her to bring both clinical insight and real-world understanding to her work.
Ashley holds dual undergraduate degrees in Education and Special Education, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and is currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her approach to therapy is holistic and person-centered, focusing on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She draws on clients’ existing strengths, helping them reconnect with themselves and build meaningful paths toward healing and growth.
Her areas of focus include infertility, postpartum depression and anxiety, grief, emotional dysregulation, women’s mental health, autism, ADHD, and life transitions. Ashley strives to create a safe, inclusive space where every client feels heard, supported, and empowered to take the next step forward.
