Sha Wortman is an APC with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, serving in healthcare/hospice settings as well as elementary and high schools. She earned both a BSW and a School Counseling, M.Ed. from Georgia State University. Sha has served as a school counselor, working with students, families and staff for 20 years. She has had the opportunity to work with very diverse populations from a variety of backgrounds.
She works with Children, Adolescents and Adults, with varying treatment concerns including: General Anxiety, Faith and Spirituality, Self- Esteem, Life Transitions, Work-Life Balance, Women’s Issues, Parenting Issues, Executive Function Skill Building for students, and School Related Issues for students (transitions, social and behavior).
Life is challenging! Changes, both good and not so good, can be difficult to navigate. Sha feels blessed to have had the opportunity to help others explore feelings, identify and utilize their strengths and build skills where they need them. Her work is deeply rooted in faith while also being open to understanding that we all have a story and our backgrounds mold and shape how we operate and how we heal.
